The BA (Hons) Graphic Design delivers a highly practical, studio-focused exploration of visual culture, user experience (UX) foundations, and multi-channel marketing campaigns. It is ideal for aspiring graphic designers, brand strategists, and digital illustrators looking to enhance their commercial literacy, specialize in both digital and print production pipelines, and manufacture a professional-grade portfolio that captures the attention of premium creative employers.

Throughout this degree, you will master editorial design, motion graphics, and narrative construction. The curriculum balances raw creative theory with a hands-on, practice-led assessment strategy, removing closed-book testing entirely. Instead, you are challenged to respond to live industry briefs, whitebox spatial environments, and compile extensive design portfolios using industry-standard platforms like the Adobe Creative Suite.

A defining strength of the program is its focus on contemporary media streams, exploring how form, content, and cultural ethics intersect across modern digital applications and traditional print channels. You will work on brand identities, motion sequences, and editorial layouts, ensuring you develop the sharp problem-solving capabilities and visual precision needed to operate as an agile, business-savvy creative agent.

Graduates of this program are exceptionally well-equipped for competitive, rewarding careers as Graphic Designers, Art Directors, Motion Animators, UI/UX Designers, and Creative Project Leads. Delivering an industry-validated academic benchmark, this qualification prepares you to step directly into premium studio spaces, launch an independent design consultancy, or seamlessly advance into specialized Master’s-level creative study.
