This course is specifically designed for motivated and caring individuals who are passionate about a career in nursing but do not currently meet the entry requirements for the standard three-year degree. Whether you have been out of education for a while, are changing careers, or didn’t take science-based A-levels, this four-year route provides a supportive and comprehensive foundation. We welcome your unique life experiences and are committed to helping you build the academic confidence and scientific knowledge needed to excel.

Our nursing programme is intensely practical, with a 50/50 split between theory learned on campus and hands-on practice in a diverse range of London’s healthcare settings. In our cutting-edge clinical simulation suite – set up like a real hospital ward with high-fidelity manikins that can simulate a wide range of conditions – you will safely practise and perfect essential skills before you even step onto a ward. You will cover everything from human anatomy and the science of disease to the principles of person-centred care, health promotion, and the ethical responsibilities of a registered professional.

Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (Adult). This qualification opens doors to immediate employment in the NHS and private sector, with roles in A&E, surgical wards, GP practices, community nursing teams, and specialist clinics. You can also pursue further study to specialise in areas like intensive care, health visiting, or advanced clinical practice. In a healthcare system that relies on highly skilled and resilient nurses, this degree provides the gold-standard training you need for a secure and deeply fulfilling career.
