Five years’ residence proof is not required if any applicant is applying in the category as an EEA Migrant Worker, or the dependent of an EEA Migrant Worker.

If the applicant is an EEA migrant worker:

  • Applicant must submit the evidence of employment in the UK, in the form of a work contract or reference letter from the employer, and last three months’ pay slips with corresponding bank statements.
  • If self-employed, then last three month’s invoices with corresponding bank statements, and a reference letter from the accountant, for the required period that explains the nature of business handled by the applicant.

If the applicant is the dependent of an EEA Migrant Worker:

  • Evidence of dependency.
  • Original Passport or National ID Card of the Migrant worker on whom the applicant is depending upon.
  • Copies of last three months’ pay slips of the Migrant worker (invoices if self-employed) and corresponding bank statements.

It is also to be noted that the EEA migrant worker (applicant themselves / or the Migrant worker on whom the applicant is depending on) must be in employment at the start of that academic year and must also be in employment at the start of the course.
